Lucinda

Lydia is fifteen with big dreams.  She’s ready for her moment of pure magic.  She’s been waiting for it for, like, ever. 

Her mom, Lucinda, understands.   She had dreams, too, once upon a time.  But her magic never showed up.  And, at forty-six, she’ll settle for just one last, little spark.

Lydia sneaks out one Saturday afternoon to meet the mysterious and exciting stranger she’s met on Instagram, an artist who’s promised to help launch her career as a professional photographer..  She takes the G train to Fort Greene, Brooklyn, ready to meet her destiny, only to discover she should have been more specific about what KIND of magic she was actually looking for…..  

One thing’s for sure; Lucinda is totally going to kill her…. if she ever makes it back home alive.
